Team USA Fails Again To Make Championship Session

Ben Provisor and Robbie Smith followed up just how the other Greco team members left off yesterday, failing to make it to the Championship session. For the second straight day at the Olympic Games, Team USA's day has ended in session one. Through the first two days, the United States has put eleven points on the board in five matches, with EIGHT of those points coming from Jesse Thielke's 8-0 win in round one.

Provisor (85kg) failed to put a single point on the board during his first round match, and Robbie Smith came out firing but ended up giving up six points off of guts. Although six points is not unheard of to come back from in Greco, it proved to be too much for Smith, ultimately losing 8-2.
